Job Title: Team Leader
Hours: Full time: 37.5 hours per week. Post holder will be expected to work some shifts and take part in the on-call rota
Accountable to: Service Manager and ultimately to the Chief Executive
Responsible for: Support Workers and Relief staff
Main Purpose of Post: To manage a team of people working with the people we support to ensure the provision of an outcomes-focused, needs-led service that exceeds the expectations of all stakeholders. The Team Leader will have responsibility for operational management of two of Visualise Scotland’s services and geographical locations including: housing support, day services, and care at home. Additionally, you will be responsible to overseeing other services to cover annual leave or sickness
The Team Leader will work with the Service Manager to ensure that the services for which they are responsible meets all organisational, regulatory and legislative requirements. The Team Leader will provide line management support and will lead staff and relief workers to ensure support to service users is provided in ways which are effective, efficient and of the highest quality.
The Team Leader will ensure best value in relation to financial management and will play a role in ensuring the service meets agreed occupancy/capacity rates and quality standards.
The Team Leader will maintain key relationships with internal and external partners and will be responsible for ensuring all quality assurance and monitoring systems are adopted and adhered to. The Team Leader will have operational responsibility for the effective delivery of the key worker system and will support the Service Manager to ensure the effective management of staff rotas, annual leave, learning and development, etc.
The Team Leader will contribute to the wider work of Visualise Scotland as required.
